Brian Duthie

Elected Experience: First time candidate.

Other Professional Experience: Everett and Department of Defense Firefighter, 10-year veteran of the Air Force Reserves including 3 tours in Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, and Oman.

Education: Community College of the Air Force, Associates in Fire Science and Aviation Maintenance Technology; Governor John R. Rogers High School.

Community Service: Board member for Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation; eight-year camp counselor for child burn survivors; fundraiser and organizer for breast cancer treatment and awareness.

Statement: As a veteran and firefighter, putting people first is my passion. I grew up in Puyallup and now I’m raising my family here. I want this community to be safe and affordable, focused on improving traffic congestion and local schools.

With your vote, I’ll be a common-sense leader focused on results, not party politics. We need lower property taxes, accountability in transportation spending, smart investments to address our addiction and mental health crises, and to close corporate loopholes. Most importantly, I’ll advocate for local kids, families, veterans, and seniors. Endorsed: teachers, nurses, firefighters, and neighbors across our district.
