Statement: As a prosecutor for over 22 years, I seek justice by considering all aspects of a case to find a balance which holds offenders accountable to victims and to society, while upholding their constitutional rights. My extensive trial experience handling the most serious and complex cases, as well as my extensive appellate court experience have well prepared me to serve the citizens of Lewis County as a Superior Court Judge. I have appeared in all levels of Court in Washington, including the Washington State Supreme Court. I pride myself in preparation and professionalism, and I will treat everyone who comes before me with dignity and respect. I bring experience in innovative justice initiatives, such as paperless courts, collaborative/problem-solving courts, and LEAN process. As a Superior Court Judge, I will demonstrate my passion for legal excellence, community service, and commitment to judicial fairness.
