Statement: Our politics have become too polarized and divisive. We can do better. This will require thoughtful people working together addressing common problems. We need to protect this beautiful corner of the Northwest; I’ll oppose the silicon smelter proposed for Newport.

Endorsements: Spokane County Democrats; Brian Benzel, former Mead/Spokane Superintendent; Bill and Bonnie Robinson, Emeritus Whitworth University President; Tom Johnson, Spokane Teachers Credit Union retired CEO
